Tex Antoine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sounds like a man of the 1950s. He would have fit right in with Don Draper and his crew on Mad Men. I could have even seen him on that show. He does look familiar for some reason. There was a weatherman taking History courses when I attended the University of Nevada, Reno. Cannot remember his name but he asked some bright questions when in class. I often had unusual people taking some of my classes like an African prince as well as some showgirls from the MGM Grand. This Reno, Nevada weatherman was another one of these interesting students. The showgirls were in the French classes. |

Not likely Tex would be with the Mad Men, he's too dorky, and been dead for like 20 years.
But this man..... shown with the inspiration for Rosanna Rosadanna

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rose_Ann_Scamardella I never lived or even been to New York City, so this stuff is rather new to me. I only get some of the inside jokes on Saturday Night Live. Then and now. I had meant that some frame on the show Mad Men could have had a shot of Tex Antoine doing the weather. Mad Men does seem to bring in a lot of historical references in their various narratives. Last edited by Taltarzac725; 11-04-2012 at 07:42 AM. |
