Default Something For Your 2009 Calendar

We drove down to Winter Park today to attend their 49th Annual Street Arts Festival. What a great art fair! My assessment is based on attending a lot of art fairs...Ann Arbor; Gold Coast, Old Town and 57th Street in Chicago; and Coconut Grove in Miami. Winter Park is as good or better than any of them. The layout on their pretty downtown park is terrific and the quality of the 264 participating artists was superb.

It's held on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the third weekend in March each year. Next year the dates are March 20-22. It's an easy drive down the Florida Turnpike to I-4 and then east to exit 87. From Mallory Square it takes us a pretty consistent 1:10 to get there. There are also all kinds of great shopping and restaurants in Winter Park.

Put it on your calendar for next year!

Looks like we missed a good one VK. Oh well, there's always next year. Thanks for the heads up!
