Being from Ohio, he was always someone I could be proud of. I remember being allowed to watch his first space trip from my grade school classroom TV.

Another AMAZING member of "The Greatest Generation" has left this earthly world ... a sad sad day indeed! May he forever rest in peace and may his family know a grateful nation appreciates all he did for our country.
