Default Crack addict

I don't want my kids worshiping or honoring crack addicts. Picking these kinds of people to be hero's makes me doubt people's ability to reason and make decent decisions.
There are a lot of good singers out there. Her cousin was Dione Warwick and Aretha Franklin was her Godmother. If it wasn't for that would we really have heard of her. Let's honor the people that really deserve it.

Do you guys remember how long after the funeral the media kept beating the dead horse of Michael Jackson's death?? It still hasn't stopped, even with the so-called doctor who gave him Propofol being convicted. And why is that? Because people are still making money off all of it.

Remember how Michael Jackson's pitiful, sweet daughter was put up there to speak at the funeral, to keep the raw memories alive thru her?

Well, I'd bet that they will do the same thing with pitiful Bobbi Kristina at this funeral. The money mongers will be using her, too....for decades.

And she has that P.O.S. "father" left as her guide. This girl needs all our prayers. She was already on a path of destruction before the death of her mom.

This is the Hollywood legacy.

I am sorry to say that I am from NJ. I think the gov. should rethink his decision.

We should all email him and tell him how this stinks.

Read this and decide if a pop singer fits with these for whom/what the flag is flown half staff:

"Federal guidelines state the flag should be flown at half-staff at the following dates/times:

May 15 – Peace Officers Memorial Day, unless it is the third Saturday in May,

Armed Forces Day, full-staff all day[43]

Last Monday in May – Memorial Day (until noon)

July 27 – Korean War Veterans Day (expired 2003 − reinstated 2009)[44][45]

September 11 – Patriot Day[46]

First Sunday in October – Start of Fire Prevention Week.[47][48]

December 7 – National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day [49]

For 30 days – Death of a president or former president

For 10 days – Death of a vice president, Supreme Court chief justice/retired chief justice, or speaker of the House of Representatives.

From death until the day of interment – Supreme Court associate justice, member of the Cabinet, former vice president, president pro-tempore of the Senate, or the majority and minority leaders of the Senate and House of Representatives. Also for federal facilities within a state or territory, for the governor.

On the day after the death – Senators, members of Congress, territorial delegates or the resident commissioner of the commonwealth of Puerto Rico

Further, the flag is always flown at half-staff at three locations in the United States. These locations are The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier; Arlington Cemetery; and the Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor.

C'mon lowering the flags for her is a disgrace. She made choices in her life and thats why she is where she is. But to equate her to people who truely gave their all for our country is dead wrong.

Well, the Hollywood reporter from TMZ just said it on On The Record, to Greta VanSusteren. Whitney Houston's estate was broke when she died, but in death it will make more money than ever, like Michael Jackson's. And, Bobbi Kristina stands to inherit the estate solely, since the parents are divorced........and the P.O.S. Bobbie Brown will be fighting to get money from the estate ad infinitum.

None of them care about this girl. Just MONEY.

I think lowering the flag is not necessary for a great singer. Lowering the flag for a native son killed in war to me sounds much better. Guess more people are interested in entertainers dying from a possible drug overdose then the young men who gave their lives for this wonderful country of ours. I salute the war heroes and feel sorry for the drug addicts and the people who surround them who don't try to help them. They are all afraid to say anything that would help cause they are afraid of losing their jobs. Wake up people it is only going to get worse. The entertainers who are on drugs and booze feel it will never happen to them. Maybe our grandchildren seeing all these deaths with drugs and drinking can kill, so hopefully they will only have to think once about it and never do it. Let's hope it does get through to them.

At 16, there were pictures on the internet and in the media of bobbi Kristina using cocaine and drinking alcohol. What will she do at 18 with any inheritance she does receive? The whole situation is a train wreck, and has absolutely nothing to do with the flag of our country.

this is the 2nd celebrity for whom gov christie has ordered the flag flown at half staff...the first order was for clarence clemons [of bruce springsteen's e street band].

that oughta indicate what the gov's motives are! just sayin'.

Those war casualities are the true heroes!

ooooo, you're so suspicious. I think you're probably spot on in your analysis, but still, oooooooooo so suspicious

It isn't political. It is not good judgement.

Neither party has that cornered. (bad judgement)

Beautiful voice and beautiful woman, yes. Drug addict, yes. We cannot help but come to a conclusion about what happened. Not something to honor or emulate.
