Default Golf Cart Lifestyle community in Georgia

Has anyone ever visited Peachtree City Georgia? 90 plus miles of golf cart paths, connecting you to shopping, restaurants, schools, medical...just wondering? I want to plan a trip there and would love to talk to anyone who may have visited. Thanks

My brother use to live there so I have visited often. Not anything close to being like TV in my opinion. There are also no age restrictions. Just a bedroom town to Atlanta.

We live 30 mins from Peachtree City and our son lives there. We are there several time a month.

Peachtree City is a family community. Teens can drive golf carts and there is a lot of 'hot roding' on the path carts. There have been robberies on the cart paths that go through the wooded areas.

I always imagined we would retire there, but after visiting The Villages, NO COMPARISON -- we just closed on our new house in Sable Chase yesterday and will be moving in when school is out in May! We are like kids waiting for Christmas now!!!

Yes, use to live not far from there. It is know locally as, "The Town That Delta Built" as it is where all the Delta Pilots use to mainly live. It is not gated, etc, as stated no where close to TV. Just a city like anyother where anyone, anyage can drive a golf cart to get around.

Grannygail, Congrats to closing on your house yesterday. I rented in Sable Chase last October -- great location, so close to Lake Sumter Landing. Enjoy your new life in TV!
