from the site you posted: Here is a breakdown of average daily COVID-19 deaths and COVID-19 deaths per 100,000 people over the last seven days in all 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C. The data was last updated Nov. 19.
Then why did you post numbers from the Summer, when FL was inundated with tourists from up north, people were staying inside, due to the excessive heat?

Of course there would be an uptick then...

Uptick???

That might be the understatement of the day!

File this under "it's not the battle's that count - it's the war."

Per your own link/map:

Total Cases/100K - Washington (state) = 9,960
Total Cases/100K - Oregon = 9,053
Total Cases/100K - California = 12,658

Total Cases/100K - Florida = 17,118

Even with the surge, the per capita death rate in Florida from Covid is tenth among US states. Florida’s numbers are currently the lowest in country, so at this rate the current ranking will drop.

good point -- who knows how many of them took covid back to their states and spread it more? those 60,000 were Florida residents.....who were exposed because unvaccinated Floridians don't like to wear masks....

perhaps if vaccination had been touted instead of regeneron clinics we might not have suffered so much. but the anti-vax sentiment has taken on a life of it's own. even Mitch McConnell said they never considered that people would not want to take the vaccine.

yeah, but there's still that pesky number--60,000 people died in the process.

or course there is this: More nursing home residents and staff died of COVID-19 in Florida during a four-week period ending Aug. 22 than in any other state in the country, according to an AARP analysis released today.

but unfortunately, this did not lead to a requirement that all staff should be vaccinated. just the opposite.

I, for one, wouldn't want my loved ones cared for by someone who wasn't vaccinated. as a former health care worker, it boogles my mind that people are thrilled it's not going to be mandated.
Based on everything I've been hearing about the current "vaccines" they do not prevent you from contracting COVID, only reduce the severity of the illness. Also these "vaccines" do not immunize you from the virus and you can pass it on if infected. So what difference does it make if a caretaker is vaccinated or not???

Not black and white. The vaccines reduce the risk of all aspects of COVID. Nothing is perfect.

Cases in the last 7 days, is 11,000 in Florida (Got this off the site you provided). Still too high for me to relax. Currently, The hospitals are telling patients that Covid is back on the rise in Florida. They are taking all precautions. This is not a time to relax.

If the unvaccinated Floridians don't wear masks, why is the rate now the (or one or the) lowest in the CONUS?

Anti-vax MANDATE, not anti-vax...

Time to recheck your comprehension, the guidance have always been based on what was known at the time. It's never been black and white...
