The circulation of such false claims is dangerous and distracts from actual true and pertinent information.

Wow, after reading all the posts...... Some making me speechless ..... So I let Henry Ford answer..:“Thinking is the hardest thing a man can do, probably the reason so few of them do it.”
Two things (facts) I can't get off my mind. 1. The US government was informed January 3rd 2020 first time about what could come up very fast for the country. 2. End of February I watched TV accidentally when 'somebody' said, this virus is a 'hoax'. All others we can probably read in the upcoming ten year in history books when we know for sure what was fiction and non-fiction. |

DID ABRAHAM LINCOLN SAY ‘AMERICA WILL NEVER BE DESTROYED FROM THE OUTSIDE’? Widely shared memes contained a quotation that is commonly attributed to the Great Emancipator. • DAN MACGUILL • PUBLISHED 3 JUNE 2019 An often misquoted version of Abraham Lincoln’s words is: “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” But, the original that Lincoln said was this: “At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.” “Paraphrased from his 1838 speech at the Young Men’s Lyceum of Springfield, Illinois.” :coolsmiley: |

Quite an opinion ... you seem to be saying that people have the right to make decisions which are very likely to impact negatively on society as a whole? And you seem to feel this is what capitalism is all about.
What would happen if you did some reading on just what the Founding Fathers envisioned to be the role of the federal government - one small piece being to "protect the general welfare" ... duh ... has it occurred to you that stopping the spread of this virus fits under that heading?. |
