Most golf course homeowners have no problem when a golfer retrieves a ball from their grass and move it to the course for the next shot. Of course flower beds and plantings are off limits and should not be disturbed, but a ball lying in plain sight in the grass just out of bounds is still the property of the golfer.

The story of the football from Ohio. Poor soul is 89 and had lived in her home for 49 years. Five years ago a family with five children moved in and she is apparently quite involved in her garden. The football flew into the yard, not the first time. She took it in the house and the father of the teen who threw it into her yard called the police. She refused to give it up and they arrested her. I don't know whose side to be on.
