Smile Scrap precious metal, need help

Hi all:

Has anyone found an honest place to sell scrap precious metal? I see the places on line and I just don't feel comfortable sending my item in the mail and them sending me a check. I have some sterling silver pieces that are in not so great condition, but would be of more value as scrap. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Most jewlers buy silver and other precious metals. Probably better to go to a local jewler than to send it off through the mail

That's what I was thinking, however I'd like the name of a place that someone has used and felt they received an honest deal.

Default Try Coast to Coast

I just cleaned out my jewelry box, went first to the jewelry store on Canal St in LSL, then to Coast to Coast. Got almost twice as much at Coast To Coast for same stuff. No time lag that would affect price of gold.

I have had several transactions with Coast to Coast. I feel comfortable that they are treating me fairly. They have a store right here in Southern Trace. So if I did have a problem it would be easy to discuss with them.
Online and the traveling buyers I stay away from.....support local.
