FYI instead of being a moving gas bomb all the way to mass , it’s much easier to just go to any gas station or marina and fill up all your small engines or boats , and if you can’t find done and you don’t believe that ( goggle is your friend) your welcome to come over to my marina in east Boston and fill up

My neighbor up north is setting up an old oil tank in his barn with a drainage valve on the bottom of the tank. The plan is to fill the tank about 90% with gas (containing ethanol) and then top off the tank with water. Ethanol bonds with water and both are heavier than gas and will sink to the bottom of the tank. Open the valve and slowly drain out the water/ethanol until pure gas drains out and shut the valve. The tank now contains ethanol free gas. |

Gasbuddy app for your phone
I am going on a trip north this weekend - first vacation in over a year - and am a little concerned about getting gas along the way (I-95). I was on the internet this morning and as usual, a search will provide many useless pieces of information.
HOWEVER, I did see that there is an free app for your phone called "gasbuddy". You can put in your location and it will provide a list of gas stations nearby and indicate if that station has gas or not (plus a few other things like price and diesel). It appears to be user updated as is the Waze app - i.e. relies on people using it to update it. I played with it putting in locations like Jacksonville that are along my route to see what was shown for gas stations. It has a map function where you can scroll the map (like google) and see the gas stations (plus some other things). You can click on the station and it will tell you about it. I've not used it yet but it looked interesting and useful. |

gasbuddy is pricing, tracker is availability. |
Shell on 441 always runs out, this is nothing new. I am amazed they are still in business.

I went at ten last night on 466 before heading to Orlando airport. No one else there. When I went in to get a drink for the ride, the fellow inside said after 930 pm always dead since 95% of Villagers are tucked in for the night.
|
The stations on 466a all have gas today.
It's like mail not getting delivered when you first move to TV, breath and life will improve. |
GasBuddy - Cheapest Gas Station Finder App with Money Saving Benefits - shows availabilty and prices .... my gas was DOWN 7 cents - all fake new for s. florida. sorry politicians ... maybe 10% of stations out.

We went down to Ft Myers yesterday. Once there, we noticed that there was no gas to be found at the stations we went past. Luckily, we were able to get down there and back without having to refuel.

Sam's always has long lines, same at Costco. If people would stop panic buying we would be much better off, did you notice that you can get all the TP you want now .
|
The topper offers are the problem.
They top off every time they leave the house....creating lines for no reason and distorting real demand/need. |
Went to Neighborhood Walmart around 9:00, 1/2 the pumps in use, no wait, $2.93.

no.or maybe yes. My hubs was planning to drive to New Orleans late Thurs afternoon, BUT, we were told late Wed, that TLH, PNS, and MOB were all already low on gas. Now, you really don't know that you can trust main stream media or any other of the goof balls , SO, we just decided to make it easy on us, and we booked him an airline ticket, hotel with free pick up, uber to pick him up and take him to pick up the family car to use for the weekend. It may be uber, or a family member that takes him back to his airport hotel that will provide the shuttle to get him back to the airport tomorrow. So all we had to worry about was enough gas to get him to MCO and back, from his flight
