Recently I heard a story re: a large group or groups of refugees seeking safety in Europe via boats on the Mediterranean. The boats were over-loaded and I think with holes in them and had terrorists that shot the people. The people who 'sold' the transportation did it for the money. Actually they were part of the terrorist group they were trying to escape from.

Many Americans have no idea how well-off they are while complaining they are poor and deprived and stepped upon.
