Default Gimme A Break

The plan was to be in TV by now. They are predicting 8 inches at least and more than 12 inches of snow for Wednesday, 1/11/11. I am so happy, NOT.

I wish I were in TV even if the temperature drops to 40 degrees. I'll take that anyday over the junk were getting tomorrow.

GIMME A BREAK.

My condolences to Pturner as I understand it's not so nice to be in Hot Lanta.

I wish you a safe trip going south to paradise. I wish I were in the same boat.

Looks like a heck of a winter so far with two major snow storms.

I love the snow. I take my dog walking in the woods, rain or shine, snow or warmth. I dress in layers. When I move to TV, it will be for the people, not the temperature.

Hi 2B, NJBCH & LI Snow,

For once, this Southerner can feel your pain. On the rare occasion we get snow, it's usually gone in a day or two. This time, looks like our driveway might be a thick sheet of ice for days.

Anyway, I wish all of you a safe trip down, as soon as practical. Stay warm and please drive carefully. Let us know when you get there safely.

Love,
Pturner

We're expecting a good dumping of snow tomorrow and we're leaving for TV on Friday. Thankfully the forcast looks good though for our travel down to VA to catch the Auto Train. The Villages Florida

BTW...

Skyguy -

We are an hour away from you and leaving Friday also - driving though - no Auto train. Maybe we will meet you. My husband could have done without the 12-18 we are supposed to get. Have a safe trip.

Pturner - HAPPY, HAPPY, BIRTHDAY!

I trust you'll get the 12-18 tonight and tomorrow just as we are expected to get about a foot. However, according to weather.com the weekend looks partially cloudy from Friday through Sunday.

I don't know when you'll arrive in The Villages but we will be arriving on Monday and checking into a LSV for six days. On Tuesday we'll be closing on our new home in the AM and Wednesday AM meet with the painter. After that we play things by ear... except for any musical instruments I have... left them home... not like I've played any of them in years! We'll be driving only to Lorton VA, then the next AM it's from Sanford to The Villages. Not even sure if we'll be awake while passing through Georgia.

I hope you get out safely and quickly. I'm jealous! We are at the final stages of getting our home ready to put on the market. As soon as it sells we'll be heading to The Villages too.

Drive safely and congratulations! See yea in TV.
