Rocket Launch Tonight (10/10) - 8:22 pm
As of 7:30pm tonight, the 8:22pm scheduled launch of an Atlas 5 rocket from Cape Canaveral is a go. For those of you in The Villages, look to the east and enjoy the fireworks of a night launch.

Just saw the shuttle go up and it looked like a big red fireball in the dark. When we watch one go up during the day all we can see is the white exhaust tail. Never saw anything like this in NYS.
