Default Where can you fly model remote control planes - gas engines?

A recently retired friend asked me if they had a place in or near the Villages where you can fly gas engine remote control planes. I know that I have seen electric models flying regularly at the Polo field during the week. I don't know if gas models are allowed.

Does anyone know where you are allowed to fly gas powered remote control planes in or near the Villages?

I've not done this, but sounds like fun and I might.

Around here, some of the big public parks have areas, I don't know about TV

I'll follow this thread

I've seen people flying them off of Rolling Acres Road east of 466.
on the left hand side of the road there is a sign that says Southern Eagles Squadron.

Two weeks I watched 3 people fly remote control planes at the Villages Polo grounds. They were on the far east side of the eastern polo field.
