Chicago, saw that in 1971 while attending Navy A school at Great Lakes. Every bar we went into, people bought us drinks. At the time we weren’t sure why, didn’t care.

Great Lakes is the only USN boot camp. And Chicagoans love it when a sailor in uniform comes to town.
