Read to near the bottom about the same senseless act with the al-Qaeda guy sitting by the side of the road with his remote control...watching the Humvee's go by...........in Iraq.

"Merciless detachment" is an appropriate viewpoint of how these terrorists do want to kill Americans...........and they don't really care who, when or where........

...anyone can repent and change...that does not mean that they do not have to pay the consequences of their actions. Not many do change their heart though.

As to Al-Queda...remember that there is a belief that they will earn their way to heaven by killing the infidel...and yes, I know not all Muslims believe this and/or act on this.

I don't even have to read it to know what is going on. Of course they do not care about killing others. It's their goal to wipe out all Infidels (that's us - non Muslims - Jews and Christians) They will do it by strapping bombs to their own children. We are back into our pre 911 mentality - no I'd say even Worse than that because we have been Warned numerous times and continue to NOT believe it or bury our heads in the sand. The Boston Mosque these guys attended had many radicals visiting. This is what is going on in the 2200 mosques in this country now and people still wont' believe it. So the attacks will continue - and I predict even get worse as America stays in denial that yes EVIL does exist.

We now know the reason for the bombing was to further JIHAD.

And lastly, our Veterans are getting their Benefits cut back while we give welfare benefits to Terrorists. What a country.

I suspect if we could have a peak at the roles of the welfare and all other federal and state $$$ give away programs we would be shocked as to who is collecting. What annoys me is that our federal and state lawmakers know it and rely on our passive attitude toward such stupidity.

Yes there are many heartless acts that are up to God to determine if there is redemption and in my eyes the things mentioned in the article are beyond "human redemption" I think it also interesting to think that one side usually views an act of "terrorism" as an evil vile act while the other side views it as an act of patriotism and/ or heroic. I'm not saying in my view acts of terrorism against innocent humans anywhere in the world are patriotic or heroic but there are people that do view them as such.

We just read in our morning paper that the mother trained in our country to be an aesthetician (she gave facials in a local salon). Wonder if her "training" was paid for by the taxpayers?

Also, at the same time they were receiving food stamps and other subsidies, according to the article in today's Vermont newspaper.

Her sons got scholarships or "aid" for their high school and college......
The younger son went to a very elite high school......followed by college at UMASS. The older brother went to Bunker Hill Community College (if anyone saw the movie "Goodwill Hunting" with Matt Damon and Ben Alfleck).......

The parents probably returned to the place from which they sought asylum because she shoplifted from Lord and Taylor and there is a warrant out for her arrest..

Ironically the cameras that spotted and recorded her sons were on the front of Lord and Taylor.

You are right..........that is ironic . We heard the same thing re Lord and Taylor.

Sounds like a totally dysfunctional family to me.

The uncle in Maryland (I believe) seems to have assimilated into the U.S. culture and lifestyle ........and seems to be living the typical immigrant's "American Dream"........he's been estranged from the rest of them since 2009 I believe........in the beginning, he was a bit emotional, but now when he's interviewed he seems honest and just as surprised as the rest of us..............whereas the mother is making up every excuse in the book for her sons..........I have a son and believe me if the facts were presented to me that he blew up innocents.......I would not have my head in the sand.........saying the blood was red paint and it was a "conspiracy" against her boys.

I'm sure we have not heard the last of this family nor their secrets.
I don't believe the dad is ill, either.
