Default Entertaing the grandkids

Our grandkids, ages 13, 11, and 9, are visiting this October/November. While there are many things to do in TV, we are also looking for places outside TV. Ant suggestions? Obviously there is WDW. We've also thought of the Tampa zoo and an air/glass bottom boat.

Another thread with lots of ideas…..
What activities to do with a 11- and 12-year-old grandkids?

We just took 9, 11 & 13 year old girls to Bush gardens, parasailing, swimming with manatees at Crystal River, beach day at ft DeSoto, and Paradise cove. All were a hit.

There was another long post on this not long ago but I don’t remember if it included a pontoon boat rental on the coast or inner water lakes, etc?

Sorry but we love spending time here with our grandkids. Shall we have them all come to your house for a visit?

Sorry? Don't be sorry! Consider yourself lucky. Our kids and grand kids are angels. We plan on seeing them in the future.
As to your visit, they would find us very boring, I'm sure.

As far as I can tell, grandkids are the only reason scooter the DJ has a gig? And if you have a pool, good luck getting the kids to come out of it.

We had our 4 granddaughters for a week 12 thru 16 gave them options before arrival. Disney was their choice. With Florida residents discounts for hotel. Grandchildren under age 18 Florida resident discounts apply. We got 2 rooms. Arranged for Disney transportation to hotel and received discounts on food and admission. Transportation is provided hotel to parks very easy. We spent mornings in a park returned to hotel for pool time and back to a park in the evening. Returned to the Villages and a day trip to Kennedy Space Center and lucky to view a space launch. Budget friendly resorts are All Star and Pop Century

Horse back riding, Mt. Dora has a boat ride across Mt. Dora. It's very pretty and goes into a preserve. There is also a plane, train and boat (same boat) trip but I'm not sure of the details on how to set this up.
