Default Scary Pool

This pool is on the 24th floor of a Holiday Inn in Shanghai. It is mostly indoors, but extends out past the end of the building with a glass bottom so swimmers can see all the way down. Yikes!

It combines my fear of being trapped underwater and of heights.

The scariest thing I ever saw was in that movie when the whole ship turned upside down in the water and it's lights were still on underwater.

EEEK.

Brings back memories of a bar in Waikiki called Davey Jones Locker in the 1980's.

You sat at the bar and the side of the hotel pool under the water was glassed and visible behind the bar, so you could look right in.

Got interesting when honeymooners got frisky and thought their actions underwater were not being observed....
