Is there a horse racing track, with betting, near The Villages?
It's something we do for entertainment ( bet, that is). Small bets. Golf, pickleball, and the ponies. Ahhh! Gene and Kathy |

I thought there was something up in the Ocala area - or is that seasonal?

Is Tampa seasonal racing, or year-around? Days or nights?
Do any readers of this thread go to the Tampa racetrack on a regular (or periodic) basis? Gene |

There is OTB at the Ocala Breeders Sales facilities.
Races from all over the country. A dollar to get in. Free parking. Snack bar with hot dogs, burgers pizza cold sandwiches etc. Also beer n booze bar. It's on the east side of the airport which is kinda on the west side of town. About 30 minutes from the north end of TV. It's not a fancy place but we go for all the triple crown races just for fun. Ask the gate guard where the OTB building is cuz it's tucked in the middle of the facility which is pretty big. As odd as it seems there is no betting on live races held there.
