I did too. The videos on Utube are a joy to watch. One in particular little girl who in a VERY teacher like voice does a narrative of the entire toy, from opening her present, to remarking about what BEAUTIFUL eyes Gotta Go has and how "sweet", and then she very carefully explains how to "feed" her flamingo, how to put it on it's little toilet to catch the "seeds" (kind of like small seed beads, the kids use them over and over). I could only think how much I would have loved to have this toy when I was trying to potty train my children. I think they would NEVER have had an accident of I would have offered "Gotta Go Flamingo" as a "reward" each time they used the "big potty"....LOL !
The two extras I had bought were taken immediately after I posted this, so must be getting hard to find.

Lol, I'm sure it's coming.....that's one this gram is not going to go out of her way to find ! LOL ! I did find that "Little live Pets" that makes the flamingo, does make a LOT of really cute Live Pet toys, golf fish, etc. that really capture the imagination of young children and have some intrinsic value in teaching real life actions.

[QUOTE=John_W;1863063]That reminds me of a scene from The Office, when Karen was holding a baby and Creed said, here you want to play with these, and holds up a string of paper clips. Karen said, you can't give those to a baby, and creed said, that's alright, I have plenty. For those who don't know, Creed was the original guitarist of the Grass Roots from '66 to '69.

Creed is second from the left.

No idea ! Watched office all the time, the in the orange vest correct...

What a fantastic idea, sadly didn't think (we have this thing that every year we buy a little girl's bike and little boy's bike to take to Laurel Manor. Just always had the mind set that you can't go wrong with bikes ! But too late, I had no problem with people wanting them immediately that's for sure. I think they are "gigging" people left and right on Ebay and others, taking advantage of people. I should have kept them and taken them with the bikes, those "hot items" are probably the ones that never appear in our toy drives here... not with so many young parents frantic to find that one thing their child want so bad ! Good idea for next year, I like that, what ever my grand kids tell me is THE toy, maybe I can find extras for our toy drive

I have collected flamingos for years — even before I ever considered moving to Florida. Several of my friends have “threatened” to get one of these for me. I hope they don’t follow through — LOL!

For boys 6 to 12, Bakugan toys are THE item. Sort of like Japanese Transformers played as a game. For girls 3-6, the new Chelsea Doll
( Barbie's little sister) are a hot item. All this according to our 6 year old grandson and 3 year old granddaughter.

Unless you're an XBox fan, then it would be the XBox Series X.
