Default Olympic swimmer

A woman that my husband works with has a daughter that is swimming in the Olympics. They have a website so that you can follow Allison's events:

http://www.swimallison.com/

It's kind of fun to know someone that is going to compete. She is ranked 3rd in the 200 meter freestyle, and she just graduated from high school this year. She should be fun to watch.

Well, she won a bronze medal last night for the 800m freestyle relay. She didn't qualify for the finals in the 200m individual freestyle, but she is only 18. We will see her in 4 more years at the London olympics. The women's olympic swim coach is the coach at Georgia where she will be attending college.

That's really something for her to be proud of! Just making the Olympic Team is an amazing accomplishment - but to bring home a medal is awesome!
