I think it's time for me to sign off as well....

My posts have always been fun and I truly thought for the most part people liked them and found them funny!

Now it appears this is not the case. This has always been a fun forum for me and yes sometimes I am honest. I guess that being honest on this forum is not OK.

I will be glad to leave the forum so that the some of you can be happy again.

Just refrain from posting things you wouldn't say to someone in person. Some of your posts are funny and some are brutal. Honesty is not an excuse for hurtful comments. Stay around and play nice.

we have been enjoying your posts out here in sun city arizona. you are so entertaining. don't leave. we actually wondered whether this happinow was a real person or just a fake picture of a couple on their avatar picture. we still wonder because she says something one day and than she changes. and some of her questions are bizarre. but she seems like a nice person and so do you. you are more fun, though. she seems more serious. we liked your honesty. please don't leave. we readers out in the west will miss you. you are so entertaining and fun. we will not be happy if you leave this entertaining forum.

I see nothing wrong in any of your posts and I made a habit to read them all. Some people really are going to cry "foul" no matter what you say. Honesty is always the best ; you have less to remember that way.

VG, I would hate to see you go. You add spice to this forum and make it more interesting. Everybody that post on this forum adds to it's appeal. I don't want to see anyone bow out of TOTV.

Village girl may have gone a little overboard with her remarks and I wouldn't have stated them if it was me, but the remarks didn't really bother me and I don't view them as reaching the level of being "brutal" as some posters made sure to emphasized. VG did admit that she was being honest, but she never said that she was being "brutally" honest or intended to be. That term was later started by someone who IMO, wanted to embellish and sensationalize their own opinions of her posts.

What does bother me though is how the two posts quoted above were ignored while a number of people were dissing VG. Not a single person - nada - said boo about them which I think was a bigger problem that what was being stated. I'll restrain from what I further thing about that!

The first quote above wasn't even criticism, but it was a simple hurtful display of disrespect for Happinow and her feelings. The second quote called VG a "Troll" and that is something I would never publicly have enough gall to call another poster here on TOTV as the poster above did... and then to follow up with insulting personal non constructive opinions to boot. There are a few people on TOTV however (not involved in these posts in any way) that I know are trolls. I know because I have been personally attacked and insulted by them for no good reason at all, as well as having been lied about by one of those persons in an attempt to create trouble for me with the then Admin.

Anyway, that's my feeling about things and most likely my final remarks about this subject!

I agree with you Gracy that VG shouldn't go and I don't want her to go either, but ultimately as you stated "She's a big girl" and that is her decision to make!

That being said, if you really read my post you would see that I didn't do any more then agree with previous threads and site the reason they may have been posted. For some reason this is the comment that was posted as the offending comment.

There was nothing in this post that called Happinow a name or anything else. I also think it's interesting how the same people who accused me of being so "harsh" were in fact harsh to me.

I do find this forum fun.... I think most people know that for the most part I am having a good time. If you don't... oh well... I plan to continue to have fun and yes, I will continue to post on TOTV.

VG it's easy to have "Fun" at other people's expense when you're anonymous isn't it.
