It’s a college town in rural Indiana. I used to work in Indiana all over and don’t know anything specific about Bloomington but I did find this on YouTube. If young and starting out enjoy the journeys of being in other places, IMO. I enjoy seeing some of the Villager signatures showing all the places they have been in their career.

Every place in Bloomington that I’ve driven through was pretty nice, and of course plenty of youthful energy due to being home to Indiana University.

I went to IU Bloomington. Not a huge town but good restaurants. Basketball country for sure. Football team is doing much better now. What industry was the job offer for?

My son graduated from IU about 10 years ago. During my visits there, I found it to be a vibrant, college town with interesting restaurants. There was a Tibetan restaurant which I found interesting. It also served Thai and Indian cuisine as well.

I take it he is not teaching at the Indiana University since Purdue has almost all of the engineering programs between the two schools.

Hoosier here born and raised. Bloomington is a great college town. Local area great for outdoor activities boating, fishing, and hunting. Proximal to Indy only 45 min. I think your son will enjoy living there! Good luck to him and Go Hoosiers!
