It's here in California too! But at 9:30 instead of midnight.

Got out my son's $75 telescope to look at the bright light and saw a slightly larger bright light after about 20 minutes to setting up the telescope and finally taking the cover off it.

Didn't see Europa or the monolith tho.

Thank you. I'm going to try more tonight. Now that I know which of the 100+ exposures were set right.
