I think there is a difference here in catching reckless speeders vs the guy going 8 mi over to get up a hill, pass a car or some other reason....what stands out to me is the word speed TRAP which it is. I've seen speed sighs for 45 all along then one partially hidden by an object and up the road a number of police cars lined up on a busy weekend, just picking everyone off as they get close...no one knows it switched to 35. A speed TRAP is a TRAP. IMHO.
