Zabar's is one of the best deli's in New York. They are pricey, but you will love everything you order from them.

If you want good bagels go to Original Brooklyn Bagels on 27/441. They are close to Koh's. The closet you will get to a Jewish deli is Toojay's. They are in Spanish Springs and Lake Sumter Landing and coming soon to Brownwood.

Zabar's is known for being one of the finest Jewish delis anywhere. Very pricey, but the quality is superb.

I grew up on West 82nd and Amsterdam, just three blocks from Zabar's. My Irish mother and I would go there about every two weeks for NY Jewish deli 'comfort food,' and so she could try to spot celebrities. Last time I was there was about seven years ago. The little one storefront deli of the 50's and 60's is now about a full block long I think. It was a haven for the European Jews who evaded the Nazis before WWII and who settled on the West Side of Manhattan.

The food was and has always been spectacular, fresh and varied. It is pricey, and it is not just restricted to only Jewish immigrant food - at which it excels. So, try it, you'll like it. Be gorra.

I love Zabar's, good food, huge selection, a bit pricey but worth it and very crowded.

I've never had their bagels.

Some of it didn't seem so bad. I'm thinking about chocolate babka, a lot of the stuff online I could get somewhere else.

The last time I went to Zabars I got a ticket for double parking, I think online would be cheaper.
