I did not go to a gun show 2020 and not this year so far because of the virus. I went to the Leesburg show in 2019 and it really wasn't worth the effort or entry fee. The gun show held at the Lake County fairgrounds is a much better show, bigger venue and better selection of firearms and accessories. The gun show held at the Orlando Fair Grounds is worth the time, big selection. Hopefully once vaccinated I will be able to go there.

That's what I was afraid of.
I did get an email from the promoter, he says 160 tables.
Not sure I'm believing.

I have in the past several time and it was a waste of time and money. You have to go to a large show like Orlando or maybe Ocala.

I have several pistols and shotguns and an AR15. Why would anyone buy another when you cannot find ammo for 9MM, 380, 45 .223, .556 and when you do it is very expensive. $39 for a box of 50 rounds of 9MM at Core in Ocala.

Jus looking for a compact.
There are a few at Shooters World.

Ammo is expensive right now, but I'm hoping not to shoot.

If you are looking for a gun, this show is not the best. The vendors are overpriced.

I find its better to shop on the internet. There are FFLs here that will do the transfer for you.

Default Compact (good choice)

[QUOTE=dewilson58;1894872]Jus looking for a compact.
There are a few at Shooters World.

I would recommend comparing prices online. I just bought my 1st gun online in December. I found a magazine article with the 10 Best Online Gun Dealers. I was very pleased with the whole process. I purchased from kyguns.com (Kentucky Guns) but also checkout Palmettostatearmory.com, midwayusa.com, rkguns.com, brownells.com.
Let me know if you need any other info.

Default Gunsmith

A bit off topic but any recommendations on very good independent handgun gunsmiths locally?

Default Compact

Look at Sig 365 , super nice size. Sights are no snag. Good capacity. Worth a look.

That's my next acquisition.

Also try gunbroker.com It's the EBay of gun sites. You'll still need to transfer to a local FFL but there are many high volume dealers with usually pretty good prices.
