Default Look What You're Missing!!!

I'm so glad we came back to Michigan! We haven't seen the sun in three days. Plus it's so warm... NOT! 48 degrees at 11:25 am.

Typical MI spring.

Is that Ludington?
We used to go back in May for Memorial Day weekend and once there was snow piled up in the parking lot of the condo.
Now we go up later.

No, it's Muskegon. One year we had the furnace on on the fourth of July.

Yesterday afternoon I was sitting by the pool at Chula Vista. It was 90 degrees . It was 49 degrees in my home up north, Schaumburg, Illinois. It was 50 degrees where my dad lives which is my birthplace of Dubuque, Iowa. It will be hard to go back north in 3 days.

There's hope... the sun's finally out in Muskegon. (Although it's no 90 degrees yet!)

37 degrees wind chill factor today in Muskegon, despite sunny day.

Where are you, asianthree?

On Friday it was 54 degrees in the Chicago area; it was 91 degrees in TV on Friday. I don't want to go back to Chicago on Sunday. Will someone in TV please adopt me? I'm potty trained. I have been through the drama of adolescence, and you don't have to drive me anywhere because I already have my driver's license. Think of the benefits of adopting an adult daughter with graying hair

Warmed up to 36 this morning. The inside of our house looks like a potted plant rescue depot. Anything in pots outside is now enjoying inside.
Gotta go and water our visitors........

Okay, here's the plan. (I don't wanna be up north either.) I'll send the dog to Illinois and meet you at my house in TV!

You should try living in the UP.....snowed on Wednesday. Cold, dark and dreary spring. When I finally "snowbird", I'm not coming back til June....for sure.

For 52 years my family owned a lake home in northeastern PA. We always opened it up on Memorial Weekend and closed on Labor Day weekend. Today it is 55 & raining there and it will be about 35 tonight. And I would give my soul to be there just one more time. For me..there is nothing that this place can offer to top our old lake home.
