But, c’mon, Bogie. This thread is a good one. This morning, I learned here that Dexter is coming back. I never thought I would watch Dexter but then I did. Who knew I would be rooting for a serial killer. But then I did.

Yesterday, I learned about Mr In Between so we tried a few last night. Mr. Boomer likes it. I don’t like it much. But I like the writing style — kind of Coen-like.

Even though we are back to a social life, the past year-plus got us into the habit of watching television more than usual in the evenings, and I have found some good ideas in this thread.

This thread is not about dog poop or roundabouts or anything to do with the mess our country is in. Nobody is arguing about anything. Nobody is obsessed with spreading their “research.” (I never dreamed that the word ‘research’ would make me want to puke. Who could have ever imagined that the definition of ‘research’ could be co-opted, too. Now, that’s Orwellian.)

Anyway, in defense of this good thread, I have to tell you, “Bogie, behave yourself.” And maybe watch Ted Lasso sometime.

I like detective shows and such, but I am open to any type of series if it's interesting enough. To give you a clue to my tastes, in the past I've liked Monk, The Mentalist, some NCIS (the original is all I've seen), sitcoms and various other types of shows. I rarely get hooked on pure drama. Monk and The Mentalist which I mentioned above had something in common...very good detective plots with really fun main characters and a humorous slant in every episode.

Okay, I'm open to suggestions. Again, I will consider any show if it's good. :popcorn:

I made it through Season 1 of Bosch, even though it was damned creepy. I had to make sure the serial killer got what was coming to him.

I do like the character Bosch, although I doubt that I will ever read the books.

Now we are on the one about the body in the trunk of that beautiful car.
