Default ANYONE TRAVELED TO ISRAEL?

Has anyone traveled to Israel? Planning on taking a trip there this year and would love to hear from anyone else who has visited there recently.

Hi English,

Where in Israel do you plan to go, will you be part of a tour?

If I know more about what you would like to do, I think I will be able to help you.

Haven't been there recently, but I loved it when I did go there. The people were incredibly warm and friendly once you got away from Tel Aviv and Jerusaleum. I was actually invited to dinner by total strangers -- by Hebrews and Arabs in Eilat.

The one thing I'm pretty sure hasn't changed is the driving according to friends who've traveled there since I went. It is hand's down the most frightening experience. I actually rented a car to go from Jerusaleum to Eilat, got about 3 miles out of Jerusaleum and returned the car. Playing chicken seems to be a way of life. Everyone drives straight down the middle of the road and neither one budges.

Hope you have as many good memories of Israel on your trip as I do.

Israel isn't very big country, so see it all. Petra is especially unique, beautiful and awesome site. It where they filmed last segment of Indiana Jones. Here's a link you may enjoy.
