Default Ideas for trip for Sanford

i am picking up some folks at the sanford airport on Sunday,,, are there any neat spots to stop and eat,, or attractions to be sure and see in the afternoon... just looking to make there trip a fun vist... not looking for a houty-touty spot.. just something different rather than a chain spot... or attraction our Hillbilly friends would enjoy... also any hints on the best way to get there from here,,,, I have gps are times it can be a bit on the odd side with routes....

Buzzard's Beach Bar and Grill....right on 441 (Burleigh Dr.) in Tavares. Sooooo casual, right on Lake Eustis, and the BEST burgers ever. Depending on the energy level of the travelers....you could also take in a Dora Canal boat tour. Just google it. There are several options, one of which takes off from the boat ramp adjacent to Buzzard's Beach.

Funny this comes up today...hubby and I have really cut our meat consumption down to almost nil, but we did consider driving down to Tavares today for a burger...just thought of it too late.

I'd bring them straight back to TV.
