Default Need info on power recliners?

Thinking about getting my hubby a lazy boy power recliner, but know nothing about them. Are they worth the money? Any problems? TIA

Bought one for my hubby and he loves it except that when he is in it and he forgets and leaves his cell phone in the kitchen, by the time he gets the chair down and runs for the phone it has stopped ringing. Other than that, we like it.

We got two Lazy Boy Power Lift Chairs for my Dad when he was sick. He loved them -- especially the one with heat and massage. Dad is gone now but Mom still uses the recliner portion of the chairs, the heat and massage. She says it is so comfortable that she often uses it at night. Thankfully, she doesn't need the lift portion but it will be there if she ever needs it.

I like the chairs but I do have a problem with them. I'm short and it doesn't fit my head right!

Hubby wants one that reclines, rocks, and swivels. Do the power recliners (not lift chairs) do that?

Has anyone bought one locally?

When my dad was alive, I bought him a Golden Lift Chair with heat and massage on line. It was SO comfortable, my husband and I loved it! Sometimes you can get insurance to pay for them too if a doctor orders it and it is approved, we had to pay for ours. We just sold that chair because my mom did not want it and it is VERY heavy and bulky to move. But so comfortable, you can get lazy in it. Maybe that is why Lazy Boys re called that! The zero gravity is very good for the heart. Buying on line gets you no tax and free shipping....

I see power recliners listed here in the wanting to sell section ALL the time for very little money. Look there.
