Default Thursday Night Football on PRIME

Did other viewers experience as much buffering as I did, via Xfinity? Probably appropriate considering how bad the Bucks played, but it was quite annoying.

Oh, by the way Thursday Night Football producers, you aren't presenting the Super Bowl. Please lighten up on the pomp and circumstance and talking-heads. Just give us the game.

Are you watching it through a cable box, wifi streaming, or hard wired streaming? If wifi or hard wired streaming, what is your internet speed?

I watched the game on my iPad using the Xfinity app. Did not have any spooling problems.

To check your internet speed, go to "speedtest.net" and click on "GO".

Note that, if you have an Xfinity cable box, you can watch Prime Video (and other apps) by clicking on the Xfinity button on the remote, and selecting the Prime Video app under "apps". This will bypass your local internet service, and may eliminate buffering.

We did not experience buffering. When we do have issues it is usually with a particular service (Hulu has issues but not YouTube for example) but it doesn't seem like Prime was having a problem that night. Hopefully, it was just a glitch in your area that has been corrected.

(Firestick, wifi, xfinity modem, 75Mbps)

I have Xfinity 400 mbps with 2 TVs, 2 laptops, 2 cell phones, 1 iPad, and two other wireless devices...and have no issues with watching football on Prime Thursday night. To the author...how many devices do you have connected to wifi? Are you connected to the 5 ghz or 2 ghz side of the router? (Devices should be split between the 2 sides) And what is your bandwidth? This all comes together to slow your connection...which may be your issue. Sounds like you may need some professional help to sort this out if you don't understand what I just said.

I had problems with buffering the first couple Prime TNF presentations last year, but haven't had buffering problems this year. But I have all kinds of problems with rewind and fast forward, the Prime broadcasts are a disgrace. Both this week and last, while I had friends over for the game, trying to rewind or fast forward sent me all the way back to the beginning of the broadcast and I had to slowly fast forward to get back to where we were. It's a pathetic system, a huge step backward.

Default Thursday night football

Streaming is a joke . The internet was never designed to replace cable. If you depend on streaming for your television needs you will be disappointed both from a financial and performance stand point. The hype of replacing cable with streaming is starting to reverse. All the streaming platforms are losing money and are raising prices in a dramatic fashion . There are a handful of corporations ( example Disney ) that own the majority of the channels and all the cable providers and streaming services have to buy the channels from these companies . The streaming services bring you in with a low price and the raise the price quickly . The streaming services thought they could create the illusion that by quitting cable and streaming instead consumers would save money.
The only company I have found to offer any type fair price is Dish Network . They are not perfect but if you want bang for the buck they are the best.

We have had prime for years and we HATE the football presentation, the announcers, can't tape, replay.

I watch the game on prime through my roku box and mute the sound. Idiot talking heads and too much crowd noise taught me to just watch the video.

Mine was doing the same thing and I unplugged both cables going into the small box at the TV and let it set for about 5 minutes. Plugged everything back in and it’s worked great ever since.

I agree, its like watching a clown show every week. They way over do it with the pre show.

Every week the picture quality seems off on Thursday night Football.
