Default North Korea Threat

I am wondering what peoples response is to the Nuclear threat North Korea is saying. Do you think the U.S. should take this threat seriously and if so how should we respond to this?

I think we should take his threat very, very seriously and I'm sure we do. It reminds me of the story of the little boy that cried wolf. Sooner or later N.K.
is going to make good on their threat and then it will be too late for us.

I don't think there is much more we can do to North Korea that we are not already doing.

keep an open mind in this day and age....his striking at the USA could be/mean many different "things" VS the traditional missle strike.

Terrorism with dirty bombs?
Striking USA does not have to mean the continental USA.
PRNK will sell nuclear material to eneimies of the USA who will carry out the task?

Typically all these wanna be power mongers like PRNK and Iran, et al. All they have is two things. One is the threat of having or doing something. Rwo they have the main stream media helping give them credibility by pumping up the threat and making it more real to the gullible listeners.

What to do? When they step over the line 1/2 of an inch, cut em off at the knees. Emasculate the wannabes in the eyes of the world. Make it impossible for them to attain/obtain the capability they flaunt.

Sanction and words have been proven over and over again to mean nothing.

Just look at the absence of regard for their own peoples to see if one thinks they care one single bit about humanity.

Stop them in their tracks so that other soon to be wannabes think twice about it.

I think it is time to tel Mr. Kim any nuclear incident on the US or US forces will be considered an act of war by the PRK precipitating a full retaliatory response by the US without waiting to prove the source. He and his generals will NOT survive. Therefor he had better make sure none of his terrorist buddies act out.

Reason doesn't work with these guys. All they understand is the willingness to apply overwhelming brute force.

He'll probably shoot the missle and weapon up and it will come right back down on top of him and his poor people. What a pathetic little man trying to flex his muscles.

Should we take North Korea Threat seriously. Judging from the mass murders, beatings and every other human right violations by Kim and his gang the answer is a firm refrain of unfortunately.

The best response is to ignore them. Does anyone think they would be broadcasting their intentions if they were really going to do it? I can assure you that we have systems in place capable of taking down any missile North Korea can send our way. I also doubt, given their past performance, that anything they launch would hit a target or work at all for that matter. North Korea has not proven that they can manufacture a missile with a nuclear war head and hit a target.
