Default Nostalgia - Girl Scout Cookie Prices

February is Girl Scout Cookie time. I can remember selling Girl Scout Cookies in western NY in February, trudging through the snow, for 25 cents a box. It was a minor scandal when they doubled the price to 50 cents a box. Not sure what they are going for now.

Monday coming out of Sam's Club a couple of girls were selling Girl Scout Cookies. I stopped at the table and picked out two boxes. $7.00 total.

Peanut Butter Patties net wt. 6.5 oz. = over $8.50 a pound.
ate half a box on the way home.

And they were baked over the camp fire then boxed for sale.

I'm sorry, just had too.

Only half a box? My hat tips to your control!

Chicago area Girl Scout cookies prices $4.00/box -- bought 6 boxes from a coworker's daughter

Cincinnati area Girl Scout cookes $3.50/box -- bought 6 more boxes from my 10 yr. old niece.

I do buy some boxes of peanut butter patties to bring to work. Not a huge fan of peanut butter, so I won't eat those myself. I do not share the Thin Mint cookies I bought -- not with anyone, even family. No one touches my Thin Mints except for me!

I bought $32.00 worth from our seven year old neighbor up North beginning of month. They are almost gone and we are not even out of February. Has anyone noticed the cookies are smaller and so is the box..or maybe it's me and I'm just older and they look smaller. Soon they will be the size of a quarter. Still taste good tho
