Trust me, it’s not overrated. My wife and I ask ourselves every day how we ever had time for everything when we were working.

That’s the same thing we ask!

My dear wife and I are in our 28th year of retirement.
We can't remember if we ever worked at all.

Think about it---no more insurance forms, no more government regulation, no more family members bringing you internet print outs to tell you how to perform surgery, no more tedious documentation to state the obvious, no more threats of litigation.

Enjoy retirement!

That's not work. That's the most fun I can have with one finger. Sad, I know. πŸ˜ͺ

Congratulations! I totally agree with the post above about retirement not being overrated. I have read so many articles and seen YouTube videos about people who regretted retiring and were unhappy. But for real in my life in both CT and FL, I have met no one who regretted retiring and quite a few who wish they did it sooner. Best wishes for many years of health and happiness!

When I tell friends I'm moving to TV (later this week!), they ask if I'm retiring. I tell them we will be semi-retired; I'm working and wife isn't.

Can't complain though. I won't have to drive far to golf and it will be a lot cheaper to play.

Congrats to OP on official retirement. Maybe I should start a clock of my own.

Make sure you exercise your brain in retirement.

Firmly believe use it or lose it

As long as it's not the one where you say "bend over", we can still be friends. πŸ˜€πŸ˜„πŸ˜€
