Default Does anyone use The Hartford Insurance for their auto insurance?

If yes are you pleased with their service/follow up? If you had to make a claim was it handled to your satisfaction?

I am shopping and they came as a recommendation.

We had been using The Hartford for auto and home, until we moved to the villages. (no claims, however to report about) They do not write home owners in Florida at this time. It was a big disappointment to us. We had been very happy with their service and pricing. We shopped around, and ended up with AAA here in Florida for both auto and home, as the multiple policy discount with The Hartford went away when we had to get homeowners elsewhere. We now use Kerriann Varney at AAA near Spanish Springs for auto amd home. 352-753-2500 ext. 2257

I have had them for many years and very pleased with their service, prices, etc.
I have had one claim and it was handled efficiently and promptly.

I would like to give you a great answer but have had them for 3 years (auto) and, thankfully, never had a claim.

I've had them for several years and I am completely happy with them.

They handle all claims efficiently and I never had a problem. I also like their rates. I found them to be the lowest but I haven't checked in several years.

I know they have an accident forgiveness program. They are a solid reputable company. If you insure your home valuables, the rate for your auto is reduced. Worth asking about.

We had The Hartford car insurance for many years. No claims and no problems. However, I have been unhappy with AARP's positions lately and The Harford required AARP membership. So I asked Villages Insurance about a year ago to find me alternatives. We switched to Progressive and are saving money. Also, no more AARP.

Without exception, every time I've asked them for a quote, they've always been among the highest quotes we get, and always higher than what we have.

I think I've been with them for about 20 years! I haven't had any claims but over the years I have compared their rates with other companies and I could never beat it.
