The latest update is that there are definitely injuries.

Here's hoping that no fatalities or serious injuries occur.

So glad to hear it, Autobike.

. Our neighbors are in the Boston area for a First Communion and not being familar with the area I googled the Marathon route. All responses on google was stopped about the maps of that area.

Someone is looking out for us. I imagine that was a national security measure. I was surprised.

Praying too Gomoho for the safety of all and the safety of our country.

Why? Just why?

All flights in and out of Boston have been grounded, and all cell phone service has been blocked to prevent remote detonation of other bombs. Anybody trying to reach somebody in the Boston area, try the land line or text message. Also, the Bruins game scheduled for tonight has been canceled. The Boston Globe is reporting over 100 injured.

The President will update us at 6:00pm.

I first read the story on the IE news & turned on the tv--ABC News. Watching the coverage immediately took me back to watching news of 9/11. My eyes filled with tears. What is this world coming to? God help us.

Thank you Jan. Our friends just sent an email. They are o.k.

I hope all of you with loved ones in the area hear similar news.
