Jet Blue? Had same experience with this "new" terminal. Beautiful and airy, but not user friendly. Had car at Courtyard and driver did not anything good to say about it. Wife calls crying babies " the mouse effect"

Come on people. Don’t be so cheap with yourselves. Travel to the airports the best possible way, that makes it easier for yourselves. In a couple of months you won’t even miss the money.Spend the money to see your children and grandchildren rather then worry about how much your going to leave them.

After a trip back from London with a connecting flight from Washington Dulles to MCO I used the Capri Taxi service tel 352 268 2609 in TV. As the flight arrived 30 minutes after midnight there are no Van or bus services at the time . I was please that.the taxi picked us up at the exit from the luggage reclaim area and we were back home in TV before 2 AM. Great service and especially pleased as after 24 hours traveling able to sleep in our own bed without having to check into a MCO hotel for the night. Also at nights the Turnpike is blocked off making it necessary to come back by the 27. Cost for the trip $140, On the way to MCO we had taken the van and amazed at the size of TV south of 44 it was a real mystery tour to pick up a customer which adds considerable time to the trip. There are two other TV taxi services Daves Airport Transport and CEO. Be advise these taxi services book up quickly.

Agreed , the shuttles are good in my opinion only if you live way south in the Villages , they start picking up in the north end and work south ,hence you spend a lot of stop and go and are last to be dropped at your home on the return. We use private service now direct to and from MCO.

Sanford airport is much smaller and easy to get around in. Depending on your destination can be a good choice.

Ok so MCO is a mess. Agree. Terminal C is a nightmare and whoever designed it and approved it should never work again. Tampa is better except the traffic at certain times. What would be a good time to book a flight out of Tampa to avoid the worse traffic?

South lot buses only go to Terminal B and we were flying Southwest which uses Terminal A. Southwest has been bragging about courtesy checking at that terminal. Unfortunately, they require check in at least 2 hours before boarding. We arrived 5 minutes too late so had to lug bags to A check in. On return, we again had to trek across airport to Terminal B so we could get to our car. Bus dropped us off at the area G gate rather than going in. From there, we again trekked across 8 lanes of gravel and grass. I know we can take local transport but parking cost $50 instead of nearly three times that much for the two of us in a shuttle. No plans to fly again any time soon.

I had the same issue this week. I fly every week but use Tampa as much as possible. I’ve promised myself to never fly out of Orlando again but had to this time - complete disaster.

All three terminal parking garages were full with no warning until you get to the garage and get turned away. I got a piece of paper directing me to South parking which was a mess in itself.

The drive to TPA is about 15 minutes further than MCO but with the additional time. The airport is far less crowded and easy to get around. Don’t waste your time going to MCO - you’re welcome.

That may be true for other airport shuttle services but not for Workman. They have only two pickup points: Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood, and are to-the-minute punctual with both. People can choose to be picked up at their homes by use of Workman "feeder" shuttles, which will (for a fee, I believe $15) pick you up at your home and deliver you to either LSL or Brownwood in time to make connections with the airport shuttle.

Yes - that's why we like Workman best.

Villages Airport Van shuttles to Sanford airport - but it's a connection from the Orlando airport. 352-241-2000

We either take a private driver to the airport or park at Park and Bark
Never a problem!

It depends on where you are going and what carriers you need to use.
Agree with the positive things about Gainesville airport. If you are flying Delta with a change in ATL or American with a change at Charlotte NC, then consider Gainesville airport. Small and convenient. A different experience from a big city airport.
