Default Remembrance or Memorial Diamonds

Have you ever heard of a Memorial Diamond? Would you consider getting one?

My wife and I have decided on cremation when the time comes. With any luck that is long way off. But turning those ashes into a diamond is a new one to me. So I am looking for input as to others experiences if any.

Hubby said he would cremate and create me into a diamond and give the diamond to his next wife. Decided it was too expensive and now I am going to be created into a pencil.

I looked at the website. Must admit that it seems a little strange. The picture of a diamond ring really turned me off. Who would you will that ring to?

Another alternative would be to use ashes to fill divots on your favorite golf course. Just saying.

This goes right in there with "Promise Rings" "Forever Rings" "I Would Do It Again Rings" "Secretary Day" "lavish funerals" and others I can't think of off-hand. Just another marketing scheme to sell you stuff that nobody wants, needs, or should waste their money on.
No... this does not "honor" the late spouse in any way, shape, or form.

Having gone through the sudden death of my 1st husband 14 years ago, for me personally, turning him into a diamond would have done nothing to ease my grief or honor his memory.

In my mind this falls into the category of "There's a sucker born every minute"
