Write/call your congressman or senator on the Syrian issue.

Everyone has had their piece of political meat, but the suffering in that country is getting worse by the day. Syria is blocking aid and the need is vital. All are quiet on the suffering....and something has to be done. If our "leaders" would make this an issue...if the networks could just hit pause on the politics and let people know how serious it is.

The Assad regime continues to restrict humanitarian aid for Syria - The Washington Post

The suffering is real...the US said publicly that Syria needed to allow aid, but I never saw that in US media...only in Britain, and Assad says peace talks are tied to our ending any aid to rebels.

You do not read any of this any more, since the political gain has been measured, but it is truly a humanitarian crisis on a par with Somalia.

Hate to rain on the day here in the Villages, but instead of mixing the next drink tomorrow, call your congressman.
