It's pay back for last year.
Last year this time we had a run of 80 degree weather.

Rain, sleet and snow today here in Michigan.

Remind me again why I haven't yet retired and moved "home" to the Villages?

My cousin in IN totally agrees with that. When I called her today, she expressed the same thought!! So I'm enjoying our weather for her.

We received three inches last night. Right after I threw my snow brush away after thinking I would never need it.

Got 6 inches of snow last night but temps are inching higher each day. The trees are beautifully frosted today, the birds think its spring and are eating birdseed like crazy and I'm back to shoveling and blowing snow. LOTS more than last year but our forests need it. I have this attitude because I consider myself the caretaker of MY forest here and the drought last year was tough on all living things. We needed water and snow is water. Next winter I pass my caretaker job on to my kids because I WILL BE IN THE VILLAGES!!!
