Default Pray for Pope Francis

Please pray for the health and protection of Pope Francis. Especially now, that ISIS has, targeted the Vatican and plans to assassinate the Pope!

Please read all below and forward to friends... the goal is ten million Hail
Mary's for our dear Pope!!

POPE FRANCIS MAKES A REQUEST

Weep not for what you have lost, fight for what you have.

Weep not for what is dead, fight for what was born in you.

Weep not for the one who abandoned you, fight for who is with you.

Weep not for those who hate you, fight for those who want you.

Weep not for your past, fight for your present struggle.

Weep not for your suffering, fight for your happiness.

With things that are happening to us, we begin to learn, that nothing is impossible to solve, just move forward.

THE HOLY FATHER MAKES A REQUEST FOR PRAYERS THAT GOD PROTECTS HIM, AND GIVES HIM FORCES, TO MEET THIS DIFFICULT TASK.

Default This may be an exaggerated threat.

Popes are probably always under threat from someone. It looks though that ISIS leaders do not want to lose Italy as a staging point.

Pope Francis Makes Prayer Request After ISIS Threats-Fiction!

Internet email myth. Pray if you like but this particular request did not come from the Pope. I looked it up as the language did not sound like something this Pope might say. Asking for "forces" sounded like a call for armies

In Sept 2011 Posted on an internet Blog (Before ISIS and before Pope Francis)

“Dont cry for what you’ve lost.., fight for what you have left..,Dont cry for what has been dead.., fight for what is born in you..Dont cry for who has left..fight for who is with you..Dont cry for your past..fight for your present..Dont cry for your suffering..,fight for your happiness..Dont cry for those who hate you..FIGHT FOR THOSE WHO LOVE YOU!!!”

You who have received this email may wish to inform those you received it from and those you sent it to that you have been mislead. Just another example of propaganda this time using the good name of the Pope.

Me too Joe. That the Pope wants us to pray with him is very true.

Very interesting perspective from the Newsweek story.
Not sure what ISIS thinks it would accomplish by assassinating the head of the Roman Catholic Church. The Cardinals would just get together and elect a new Pope, who might just have even harsher opinions concerning Islamic Jihadists such as ISIS.
Personally I think the greatest threat to the welfare of Pope Francis might come from very conservative, so called "traditionalist", right wing Catholic groups who are not at all pleased with Francis's attitude that following the Gospel means loving God and one another, rather than rigidly obeying a set of rules and regulations set down by high ranking clerical hierarchy.
Remember what happened to Pope John Paul The First.
At any rate I will join you in praying for Pope Francis.

Heck, I owe ten million Hail Marys in interest from my last confessional penance. [emoji6]
