Ohio is a good place to be "FROM" if you are currently living in TV. Not so good if you are still tied down in Ohio and wanting to move to TV.

My youngest sister has lived in the Cincinnati area since 1991. She married a native Cincinnatian 14 years ago. While visiting them 2 weeks ago I had Skyline chili and goetta for the first time and enjoyed both very much.

Grew up in Sandusky and Findlay. Rode the ferry over to Cedar Point when you could ride all the rides for $3.50 all day- 'course there weren't many rides then! (does that date me?)

Daughter graduated vet school at Ohio State. Son lives in Beavercreek. Numerous relatives in Cincy and Wilmington. So still have ties there!

What's with the Intersate ???

As a boy in the 50's we traveled from Up-state NY to Akron at least once a year to visit my Grand Parents. Great Memories. As an adult in the early 80's we traveled from Louisiana to Up-state NY going through Ohio once a year to visit my parents. The interstate was so rough I'd have to get my fillings replaced and the front end realigned after each trip. (Expansion joints on the concrete slabs) Please tell me they fixed this:jester:

You bet! I usually go up there about this time of year for festivals and nice weather. The Corn Festival was in Wilmington last week and the Shrimp Festival is in Urbana this weekend. I never knew they grew shrimp up there until reading about the festival. Don't think I'll make it this year. TV instead!

Yeah, I know it says 2011 but it really is for 2012.

(I don't see the popcorn festival in Granville listed though!)

Nope, still there or at least moved a few feet one way or another. That is one of the reasons the state has not increased the speed limit from 65 to 70.
But we have the best politicians that money can buy (except for Illinois where theirs are doing time making license plates).

St. Mary's here. Reds and Browns fan. (Still don't forgive my Dad for betraying the Browns and becoming a Bengals fan when that franchise started!)

And I'm an Ohio Northern University Polar Bear. ( Anybody else?)
