I am considering buying a 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid and wondered whether anyone else has one and would like to share the pros and cons? I am not interested in other vehicles only the Subaru as I have been a Subaru owner of many vehicles over the years and am pleased with the product. Thoughts appreciated.

Might help if you have specific question about. I don't own one but have a Hybrid and love it. Rav4 for over 4 years, we get between 36-42 mpg. I suspect you'd see something like this with the Subaru, maybe a little less with the symetrical all-wheel drive. We also have had Subaru's and loved them.

I will not buy any vehicle equipped with ALL wheel drive, there are too many potential problems with tire replacements, and potentially high costs for transfer cases. Also, I see absolutely no need for all wheel drive in the south, unless you are into off roading, etc.

I had Subaru for many many years and loved them. But my wife had a Honda CRV and we had to choose which to bring down. The CRV won. That being said, we saw no need for AWD so we got a new Honda CRV FWD. I didn't like the idea of no spare tire with the hybrid, so we got an ICE.

Wife has a regular Outback - loves it but the MPG is terrible. I looked at the Forester Hybrid - only 38MPG - I think that was only 4MPG better than the non hybrid. Didn't think the extra cost was worth it.

Agreed! All wheel drive isn’t just for snow and ice. It’s wonderful on wet roads and especially when you can’t avoid standing water. It’s very evident that Florida struggles to design a road that doesn’t hold water. We’ve had AWD for many years and no problems.

Our daughter recently bought a new Subaru Forester, non-hybrid, and loves it. She is very particular and value conscious and test drove both the hybrid and regular models, and opted for the traditional option. The hybrid didn’t feel right to her, costs more, has potentially more maintenance issues and the eventual cost of replacing the battery pack, offered only a marginal increase in MPG, and was told by the dealer that the AWD system in the traditional model is superior in the snow (she is a skier). I think she made a wise choice.

The “All Wheel Drive” is, and has always been a Standard Feature of Subaru - without any issues, including the gas mileage. And Subaru has consistently been one of the most highly rated vehicle on the road due to SAFETY, and RELIABILITY. Also Consistently one of Consumers Reports Top Picks. As with nearly All Subaru Owners, we now have no intention of owning and other Manufacturer !! AND YES, it is quite True that Subaru outlasts all other vehicles on the road, with some owners known to own one for over 10 years without ever having major issues … including the “All Wheel Drive” feature

I'm considering a Tesla model 3, would like to know which charger you bought, who installed it, and cost to get it installed?
