Angry Remembering 9/11.

Where were you when this happened? I was in Palm Harbor, FL and would later go into volunteer as a reference/check-out/shelving at East Lake Community Library where my fellow volunteers and the library staff were very much in shock over what had happened that day on 9/11.

The two libraries I volunteered in locating in Palm Harbor probably had 200 volunteers between them and I had experiences sharing life stories with many of these over the three years I volunteered for 10 to 14 hours per week. The other library was the Palm Harbor Library.

Believe my older brother had ex co-workers in the Twin Towers. Not sure though.

I still have not been to New York City but would like to go some time and I will get very emotional when seeing the site of where the World Trade Center stood.

Very thankful that they put up something near there as not to let the terrorists win. One World Trade Center

This is a day that makes me think of all the things this destiny means to me. The beauty of our land, the diversity of our people, of knowing that I have your back and you have mine. The thought that repression of your individual rights is repugnant to me and to all you legal citizens here, the knowledge that being of a nation that upholds freedoms is ultimate joy, I truly feel blessed that this is where fate put me in this world. I am thankful for my country, community, for all life's goodness. On this day of great sorrow, I am thankful for my life.
