Have had this happen multiple times by birds and squirrels. Best to leave in glove box or overhead tray.

No, they are slightly larger and very quick and intelligent. I have seen them several times here inTV working as a team - while one entertains you the others are ransacking your cart! Longer less bushy tails - don’t know the correct name but well known as “ Monkey Squirrels “.

Why isn't someone turning these monstrous offenders in to Community Watch? Someone call Meta Minton, this is the scoop of the year!

Should charge those birds the amenity fee for what they are taking away

I've only seen them on the Jacaranda nine, but not lately. When you see one for the first time, it just makes you think of a monkey by the way they act and look. They're really a Fox Squirrel.

Crows/blackbirds usually leave in June for parts unknown. I can tell by my bird feeders being full all day. They usually come back around Nov/Dec

A fellow in my golf group recently was talking to a powerline worker and they had to dismantle a bald eagle nest from a tower next to Belle Glade. He said they found 9 dog collars in the nest. This is third party info, take it for what's worth. However, small dogs should always be on a leash, coyotes are known to grab small dogs once or twice a year in TV. You can see a story at the link below from Channel 9 Orlando, or search on this very website and find it happens.

Use Safflower seed, black birds and squirrels won't touch it and song birds and doves love it. I didn't get black birds this year until February, they came the same week as the Brown Thrashers.

You're the culprit. Stop putting peanut butter crackers, chocolate power bars and shiny objects in your bird feeders!

My friend had a baggie with cut up fruit inside zipped into her front golf bag pocket at Hacienda. When she came back from eating lunch (Hacienda was still open), a squirrel was eating the fruit. The squirrel had gnawed through the bag to get the fruit!

Default Nope. Second.

The very same thing happened to me on the same golf course about a month ago! I had brought a couple granola bars containing chocolate chips and left them in my cart. I went to practice some putting and saw a friend of mine running off to the right and had no idea why. On his return to the putting green he informed me that he had seen a crow in my cart steeling something and flying off. He tried to retrieve it. When I looked in the cart I noticed one of the two unopened bars missing! Lesson learned.

"Monkey squirrels" are actually foxtail squirrels.
