Default Priceline -- good or bad?

Has anyone had experience with Priceline for auto rentals or hotel room? I got a price that seems way too good and I'm not sure if this really is true. I travel with a small dog and there seems no place to get a hotel room with that in mind on the site. Any helpful comments would be appreciated....
Thanks

I use them a lot. I use the 'name your price' option. stayed in the Orlando hyatt inside the terminal once for $45! the red lion at seattle airport for $35. many deals out there. bad news is once you get it, there are no refunds!

I always use it for car rentals..name my price. I'm not sure what hotels you are interested in when traveling but when we moved down here with our two cats we stayed a La Quinta...rooms were clean, not expensive and they accept pets.

In your case, traveling with a dog, Priceline would not be good for you. If you were to end up with a hotel that doesn't allow pets you would be stuck.

You can try Dog, Cat & Other Pet Friendly Hotels at Petswelcome.com to locate a pet friendly hotel. Not sure about pet friendly auto rentals.
