IMO Totally different system a rocket in not just rocket, other wise Boeing wouldn’t have failed. Boeing has gotten way more money from government for their failed missions and what did we get for it? A rival had to rescue them. And yes it was rescue cause Boeing had NO means to get them down. Boeing should have paid for rescue. Not government IMO

Bringing back the two stranded astronauts *was* all over the news. I don't watch the news yet I heard about it for days prior to the flight. I was sitting at a restaurant and heard cheers around the place as the capsule splashed down. If you didn't see it you weren't paying attention.

SpaceX was also all over the news for it, including the false claim that it was a rescue mission. A rescue mission would have brought them back sooner, in less than 286 days. It was reported in an article I can no longer find that the February return date was identified as far back as August 2024. February became March due to some problems at SpaceX but ultimately they came back as (re-)scheduled.

They was stranded Boeing had now way in near future to get them down.

Go up for an eight-day mission and then find your way home was cancelled. Have to wait many many months to catch a ride home with the next crew. If that's not stranded, I don't know what is!

Your post reminded me of Felix Baumgartner who rode a balloon upwards of 25 miles, then jumped. It took him over 4 minutes to descend, and he broke the sound barrier on the way down. That was definitely the most incredible feat I've ever seen in my lifetime.

Yup...The problem is we have had an employer's job market (more people than available jobs) for 25 years which naturally pushes down wages. We will have an employee's market soon which will naturally drive up wages. The era of unbalanced trade is coming to an end.
