We are also from Roanoke. You should check out the Virginia State Club. We have monthly meal meetings with entertainment and fun trips and other activities. Meetings at Paradise Rec. Ctr. first Saturday of every month when Covid crisis is over. We have @ 150+ members

There are probably more than 500 people from Virginia in The Villages. You will certainly begin running in to them as you get out and about.

My husband and I both are from Roanoke. Lived there most of our lives, me 50yrs, him about 40yrs. We actually lived in Botetourt Co. for 18 of those years before moving to the Villages in 2010, but still worked in Roanoke.

Great place to raise a family but not much for kids to do after graduating from College.
